Industry 4.0 is often not a technology problem, but a legacy machine fleet problem.

A significant share of injection molding and CNC plants still operate machines that are 10–30 years old. These machines often have no network connectivity, do not support IoT platforms, and may rely on USB export, serial output, or physical machine-state signals.

Buying new machines is expensive. Leaving valuable production data unused is even more expensive. Syntraiq closes this gap by enabling digitalization on the existing fleet, without multi-million replacement projects or controller modifications.

A retrofit gateway for both data-port and signal-based machines

USB connection

The gateway behaves like a USB drive, automatically archives the machine output, and forwards the data to the server.

RS232 connection

Using printer emulation, it captures cycle data, stores every event, and transmits it to the central system in real time.

GPIO / industrial signal capture

For CNC and other legacy machines, it monitors opto-isolated state signals such as cycle end, alarm, door open, spindle running, or part pulses, and turns them into production logs.

The strongest fit is valuable, reliable equipment that still operates offline.

Syntraiq is not limited to one vertical. It is designed for equipment that still exposes data through USB drives, RS-232 / RS-485 / CAN, Modbus RTU, or simple industrial signals. The gateway collects industrial signals, serial data, and file-based exports; the server-side layer turns them into operational information for shift leaders, maintenance teams, and MES/ERP systems through rules, time-series analysis, and model-assisted alerts.

Cycle detection from noisy signals

Noisy RS232 and GPIO signals can still reveal cycle start, cycle end, false pulses, and abnormal cycle-time changes.

Anomaly and downtime patterns

The system can compare behavior against an operational baseline and flag slowdowns, recurring stops, operator deviations, or quality-risk patterns.

Maintenance risk signals

Cycle time, alarm codes, machine states, temperature, or optional sensor data can make wear and maintenance needs visible earlier.
